Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (Spoilers but the movie is from 1989!)
[Spoiler (click to open)]So ten years later, literally! I watched the next film in the series. In a world of shiny alternative TOS timelines and sleek Discovery (of which I have not actually seen much), it was a truly unfair comparision :-D

Producer Harve Bennett called Star Trek “Why” “the film that almost sank the franchise.” Given that STNG was going strong at this point, that’s hyperbole. But just as Star Trek: The Motionless Picture showed that G Roddenberry was past it as a writer/producer, this film did the same for the original series actors. “Sit down, boys, you’ve earned your laurels, now sit on ’em.”
A further bit of trivia is that Kirstie Alley actually had three opportunities to reprise Saavik. Rather than paraphrase, I find Wikipedia is sufficient:
The role of Saavik in Star Trek III went to Robin Curtis when Alley declined to return for less money for a larger role than she received in Star Trek II.[

Haha I find the touching up distracting lol. Because it goes against what I remember but then I remember VHS lines across the screen so I'm probably exagerating on the distraction.
