I went to see The Golden Compass, and it was everything I had hoped it to be and more.  Even though the ending credits said it was based on the book "The Northern Lights."  They stopped a bit short of the books ending, but it was a good place to stop for a movie.  They also changed the order of events around a bit, but all and all I think that made ( Read more... )

I find it very interesting how I can log into AIM at 9PM, see a huge list of people online at that time, walk away from the computer and forget about it, and still not get any messages on AIM until between 2 and 4AM from those people who were online the entire time.  Just makes me think I shouldn't bother with messenger programs ( Read more... )
