I know I haven't blogged about Florida or the new apartment yet, but here's this anyway:

My team won their playoff game while I was out of town! Woo! I'm leaving now to go play in the championship game.

Inspiration to kill people on the ice today comes from finding out this morning that I got rejected by U of C. And that it's probably a sign that I won't get in to Stanford, either. Someone will pay.

I'm not sure which is more annoying to me: being at home last night and not being able to connect to any web sites, or being able to connect to whatever site I want on April 1.

I hate April 1 on the internet. Except for slashdot, you never know whether people are being serious or not.

Back safely from Vegas! I'm glad I ended up going... I'm a little bit worried to check my bank account balance to see how much I spent (I was putting anything non-gambling related on my debit card), but I broke even on the gambling (always bet on black, baby!), everybody seemed to have a great time, and on Saturday we covered pretty much the ( Read more... )

Good: The discovery that I can play through the first eight levels or so of Ninja Gaiden in one sitting without too much trouble.
Bad: Actually doing so, after going out to dinner, at someone else's house. It leads to things like not being at work yet.

Did anybody else find it amusing that it took Dawn of the Dead -- a movie where the dead rise to walk the earth -- to dethrone The Passion of the Christ -- a movie about a guy who rose from the dead to walk the earth?

So, last weekend was almost completely taken up by volunteering at the Hockey Challenge. A great time, all-around.
