I had my 2 week follow up appointment and everything is great! I have lost 17 lbs and my BMI went down 3 whole points. It will help me stick with the liquid diet for another week knowing I am losing weight.

Ok, so I finally had the gastric bypass surgery and I am doing amazing. I eat less oz's in a meals a day then I used to drink in soda. 24 oz of food a day......so filling, lol. Ok, Kassie graduated (I am totally going thru a depression over it) and Tom and I have moved back to Ohio from Rhode Island. I am mixed in feelings about our East Coast adventure being over. The tragedy at VA Tech can not be expressed in words. The sympathy felt for the loved ones and friends of those killed can not be expressed by words. This is why I do not understand why they continue to give this so much press.
