I'm making shoes to wear in my sister-in-law's wedding next month. Well, not really making shoes as much as making them over. I bought some cheap silver sandals with a low heel and I'm decorating them with tiny, iridescent glass beads. I forgot how much fun a hot glue gun is! A few weekends ago, my husband and I visited the Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science. [Mary Brogan is the late wife of former Lieutenant Governor of Florida, Frank Brogan. Last night my husband and I stumbled onto a dog show on Animal Planet when he was flipping channels. It wasn't the usual snobby dog show. It was a mutt show, with fun categories like "Best Dressed," "Best Smile" and "Fastest Mutt." The judges were all minor celebrities.
