I went to the French Quarter tonight with some friends for the Second Saturday Gallery night on Royal. We were walking down the street, and I came upon the Royal Street Grocery. I got a parking ticket during Mardi Gras. It is annoying, but technically I was in the wrong as I was maybe 4 ft from the stop sign not 20. So I go to the City of New Orleans website to pay it. My parking ticket is not in the system. My license plate is not in the system. I can't get through to the parking violations office on the phone. Big ( Read more... )

My value as an "above average" employee is only worth 3 effin percent. I might see $15 more a paycheck. I seriously need to reconsider my employment no matter how much I like my job.
