Lipstick on a pig
I won't be voting for Obama, but this is ridiculous. As Obama called it..."phony outrage." I'm sure he'd be smart enough not to call Palin a pig. In hindsight, of course the connection would be made to the RNC speech. Shame on McCain for making an issue out of something as irrelevant as this. -
Am I old, or does Mtv just suck?
I caught parts of the VMAs. I remember when I used to look forward to seeing the likes of Pearl Jam, Aerosmtih, even 'new' GnR. I have no idea who the host was nor did I recognize the majority of those involved. I guess I'm officially out of touch. -

Back in the time they called "The 90's," Everclear was one of my favorite bands....the raw emotion of Sparkle and Fade was something I could appreciate. They went "pop" with "So Much for the Afterglow" but were still producing good songs and I dug it. There were some good takeaways with "Songs from an American Movie vol. 1 and 2."

What sounded like a good idea is turning out to be a bit of a disappointment. If I had paid money for this, I may have wanted it back. These recordings probably were best off left in the basement.
