Last Saturday was the nineteenth annual Bare Blade Tavern Brawl and to be honest... I was less than impressed. As October ends, so too does the excessive uncertainty surrounding my housing situation. Our roommate seems like she'll be okay finding a new place to live next semester but one way or the other, she's given faechylde and I the okay to move to Portland. Mi esposa bellísima, faechylde, got a job at Toys R Us and since they seem all but desperate for employees, I applied too. They seemed satisfied enough with my credentials but their HR department doesn't want a married couple working at the same store, so that's another opportunity shot down. The biggest news of the day-- the announcement that I've been waiting months to hear-- has turned out to be less gratifying than anticipated. Nintendo's new console, the Wii, will be released in North America on November 19th for the price of $250. This is $50 more than what they should be charging for it.
