Chapter 2! :D And actually, I realized there are spoilers in the general story here and there for most of season one, so I figured I would just update the spoiler warning here with that. ^^;

5,124 words~

'I think I know what's happening,' Merlin said quietly. )

a chuisle, merlin

Oh, my god. Poor Merlin. I want to hug him.

FYI, you're an AWESOME writer. This story is so cool.

I felt so bad for him, writing this bit! ;_;

Aw, but thank you very much! Glad you're enjoying it!

Arthur's reaction to Merlin's confession was pitch perfect. Of course he would be livid at the ramifications of the spell. He is the future king and Merlin wields unbelievable power over him. It's untenable. You had me aching for both men.

Then, Merlin has to expose himself. Again. Save Arthur. Again. With devastating consequences. Again.

It's all making for an emotional, wonderful read.

Wow, That was stunning and so heart-breathtakingly beautiful! I both love and hate the fact that Arthur despises Merlin now for what he has done and that Merlin is living his days in a dungeon. Hate for the obvious reasons, but love because it's so original, daring and nothing less than true to character.... I just hope - and despite how much I am loving this stories gritty nature, I am hoping - that Arthur has a change of heart and finds away to release Merlin, or at least reconcile. I don't think this would hurt Merlin as much if he knew Arthur didn't hate him.

Anyway, absolutely brilliant, wonderful story! I am thoroughly enjoying reading it! XD

It was definitely tough to figure out just where Arthur would fall on the scale of okay to really not okay, once he found out. Buuuut he is judgemental and quick to anger, so it seemed to be the right thing to do to make him act that way. I'm glad to know it sounds in-character!

Oh my god, I'm whimpering. I'm crying. Your story has reduced me to being a bundle of emotion.

I don't mean this sarcastically at all, but this has to be one of the only 3 or 4 stories that have ever done this to me, so: Congratulations!

Oh no, I need a happy end for this. It was a great story to read. Thanks. But now I am off searching for the happy end sequel in your journal.
