You know how people have those security buddies... "if we're both 35 and not married, we'll marry each other"? I was thinking, the reason you set the date so far into the future is because both of you are going to be searching for a significant other right up until the day you have to marry each other. OBVIOUSLY, you don't want to marry this

I dont agree with you at all. as a matter of fact...my "SB' isnt a secret at all, and he happens to be someone that i would be delighted to be married to. and I actually hope that by the time we are 30...we wont have anyone so that we can be happy together. the purpose of our waiting...is to ensure we arent missing anything else. that and i tricked him into this so that we can be together.
just because you cant find someone who with be your "SB" that you will be happy with doesnt mean you can speak for the rest of the world.

You're right, I shouldn't speak for everyone. I should be so lucky as to find a guy with a brain malleable enough for me to "trick" him into settling down with me. Congratulations on being manipulative. Food for thought: Perhaps his view on the situation is similar to mine.

P.S. If I happen to fall in love with a fat slob who resembles my mother, I will surely marry him. If not, you can bet I'll be perfectly happy by myself.

I wouldnt mind an SB. not for marriage, just for reproductive purposes. You know, I don't want to die without planting the old seed. It's our only reason for existence.
