There is a transport going down this weekend, very last minute and critical. Eight dogs (if I did my quick math right) who need transport from Houston, TX to Minneapolis. The shelter they are currently at is quick to kill dogs at the least provocation, as they did about a month ago. That story is here.

My Saturdays
I'm off again on a transport this morning. This time it's Cassie, a 4-year-old Brittany Spaniel. I'm going to drive her from Des Moines to Clear Lake. This will be the fifth dog I've transported since joining driveforlife.

It amazes me how many parents have a difficult time with the concept of their children having actual, you know, LIVES that do not include their parents.
