Outward bound
Another night with hours spent getting Libby to sleep and me sleeping on the sofa. I'm hoping that next Saturday I can actually get some sleep and get out to do some riding on Sunday morning. I really need to get back to the exercise - I'm supposed to be doing the Reading half marathon at the end of March and I've not had a chance to run since ( Read more... ) -
So very tired...
Sorry for the lack of update, the only thing that really been happening is a commplete lack of sleep. I think that Libby is operating on a twenty six hour clock so she's now back staying awake at night. Half a dozen of one
I think that we're at a happier place - Libby is still awake and crying more in the day but at least she's been sleeping through the night. Yeah, I'm sure we are. At least this way I sleep. She's definitely now looking at faces and her eyes have started looking around rather than only her head moving ( Read more... ) -

Libby seems to be different every day. Today started well with me completely failing to complete the night feeds myself and let Kat have a sleep. That plan failed so completely that I was woken up by Kat going to feed Libby at 0800. A long end to a quiet day
After a long single day back at work it's been very pleasant it stay at home. Kat managed the night feeds again - for some reason she doesn't think that me falling asleep in a chair next to her adds much to the process, although I am pre-making all the night feeds before I go to bed. Work, was I ever away...
I would start talking about what work is like when you've only had a couple of hours sleep but, with the fact that I am on call one week out of two normally and we get called out for emergencies about one week in three. Ah, boring tedium
No insult to our guests today but today was nice and calm, generally. Ok, we were up with Libby from 0500 til 0800 trying to get her settled but we did both manage to sleep after till 1100, which did mean that I missed riding but I was in no fit state anyway. A battle of wills
Today the battle was joined and the enemy broke first! Yes, today I bullied a twelve day old girl into sleeping once she'd been put down. First thing this morning I was faced with something I'd not seen yet - Libby awake and active during daylight hours.
