As I mentioned before, my mom and I spent last weekend in Asheville finding a site for the wedding. My original first choice was Hidden River , but it's still a work in progress. New sewing project!
Since I got done with the Skirt of Many Pleats, I haven't had any big sewing projects in the works. I've done a couple of practical skirts, but nothing i was really excited about. But now I'm making this skirt. Only mine will be pale blue and will have dragons, or maybe peacocks, instead of flowers embroidered (heaven help me!) at the hips. The ( Read more... )
