I'm very unimpressed with this trope too. I really hate that they used it here, it would've been so much more fun to just have them know and play along instead.
I'm less mad about Cassandra even though yes, it doesn't make sense and is a very convenient way to keep her in the show.
Yeah...I expected Cassandra's plotline to get resolved somewhat anticlimactically. I just expected it to be something along the lines of a convenient magic side-effect and not let's ignore what we told you for two seasons...(and I might whine less about it if there wasn't the other stuff that bothered me...but once I'm grumpy I get nit-picky XD)
I didn't know there were new Endeavour eps until I saw all the gifs on your tumblr. xD I might have to rewatch season 3 tho, because I can't remember a thing...except the tiger. Oops.
Do you know Close to the Enemy? I have no idea if it's any good but my dashboard is full of gifs from the first eps and it does LOOK good. (it's set in the 1940s, August Diehl is held hostage by the British Army because he's a scientist and they want to know all his secrets. Hey ho.)
I want for 2017 to bring us more GOOD new shows and less real life drama. Thanks.
I don't (tbh it sounds aesthetically pleasing but otherwise I'm not that much into spy-ish stuff...I've been meaning to give London Spy and Bridge of Spies a try for ages but I never get round to it...)
Yes. (I considered trying The Young Pope. The gifs look good at least XD But otherwise I don't even know what is coming up this year...I am so out of the loop)
Oh, Endeavour. I greatly enjoy this season so far, but I don't geht Joan at all. Maybe she's ashamed because she's having an affair with at least one married man (which May be how she keeps herself afloat?). That's definitely something her parents would hate.
I'd have agreed that Thursday wouldn't have dragged her back last week but after that conversation with win I'm not so sure. I can See him making her see her mother.
Everything about the Thursdays is so sad and depressing this season. ;____; (another reason why Trewlove and Bright are my faves at the moment, they make everything 325 times more adorable! )
I'm really excited for the final ep of the season in sunday, but I'm also terrified I won't like the conclusion of the Thursday Drama. D:
Yeah...I guess we just don't see enough of Thursday's family-life to know how he'd react and he might hold some more conservative views about it but...that just brings me back to the point of 'why didn't she say something to Morse?' I guess it could be something she thinks he'd also disapprove of but...so far it just looks like drama for the sake of drama.
Well...what's the worst that could happen? (she asked, sobbing and terrified because she knows the show D: D:)
Yeah...and the Librarians was always a bit more on the 'who cares what we established last week'-side than a lot of other shows but that's just...meh. *sighs*

Shit having no or only little consequences is a thing that plagues a lot of show, not only the Librarians. Which is sad.
