Withdrawal Syndrome - it's not what you think.

Today I officially withdrew from the Margo Patterns Portrait Contest.  There's just no way I could ever get that gown done in the next 29 days.  Oh, I'll get the gown done eventually, but not in the very near future.

Sounds like much progress has been made! (gotta get organized before the rest works)

And... ok... when did you change your LJ name? I was very confuzzled seeing that picture but a different name (glad the picture was there, or I'd still be wondering where this fairechatelaine chick came from :-)

Never mind... I just *completely* forgot you had this one as well.

And whether you finish it sooner or later, I still can't wait to see what your new garb looks like!

What I really need to do is work on garb for my hubby. Poor man hasn't had anything new for a couple of years now. I have his silver paned slops to finish, and a new jerkin and tights cut out. At least the jerkin and tights will be easy!

He still looks good in what I've seen him in, though. He must just be "easy" on his garb.

I have to say that decluttering is one of the most cathartic things you can do! I'm such a packrat, so I've been torn between pleasure and pain at getting rid of some of this stuff. But what am I going to do with it? I don't have children, so most of the "sentimental" stuff isn't going to mean diddly to anybody but me.

I can see where your time might be limited, especially if you're thinking of going back to school!
