Here's a neat little trick I have the unfortunate pleasure of learning about. Every city has a website. It usually ends in .gov or .org instead of .com, and on said website, there is usually information about how much tickets cost, for those of us who either a) get a ticket while driving through town and are not residents, or b) don't feel like ( Read more... )

So, I'm debating on sending a submission for the next NaNo magazine. For those who don't know, NaNo is a group that encourages writing (I believe the point is to write every day for the month of November, and at the end, you'll have a book). I absolutely LOVE my new apartment. I don't love watching my money slip away on things I thought I already had covered, but I LOVE making my own rules, keeping things at my own volumes, buying the foods I like to eat, and not having to tip-toe around anybody else.
