Now that LJ is essentially requiring that I move to a paid account in order to follow new feeds from other blog sites, I'm thinking about jumping ship. Any advice on a more friendly blog site? Should I just bite the bullet and host my own software?

NYC metro area subway lines are great... unless it happens to be the weekend. Then, it's a crapshoot as to whether the line you want is actually operating on anything resembling its weekly run. I really do not understand the uproar over the fees that Spirit Airlines is imposing regarding carry-on baggage stored in overhead bins. The wireless network interface on my Roku player (for streaming Netflix) died at some point during the last couple of months. Since my warranty only expired a couple of weeks ago and this issue is a known problem, they are likely to replace it, but I'd have to send my Roku player in for an exchange.
