Check back tomorrow for at least two albums of the week... I have been distracted the last couple of Fridays, so I owe some music love. Plus, I've gotta decide what album from last month I'm going to recommend. There were a few good ones.

I just got word that my committee petition was approved. It was about a month and a half process, but I think it will be well worth it! Now, I'm still on track for a May 2 oral exam date.

Last week on Tuesday night, I went to Trader Joe's to pick up a few cases of wine for the Engineering Social that was held on Thursday night. Outside this particular TJ's was a bunch of LaRouche supporters. My first thought was to alert the nearest mental institution that some of their inmates had escaped, but I decided try to ignore them instead. ( Read more... )

I had my last Swedish class at UCLA today. The Scandanavian Section does not have the money to run another next quarter. I'm a little sad as I've been taking these courses for 1.5 years. There were only 4 of us left from the Scand 1, although we picked up some returners from previous years' courses and some who had studied for a while in Sweden. ( Read more... )

I was able to pick up my cellphone from the bus company yesterday! I'm particularly glad that I am not going to be without a useful phone for a few months.
