How my son managed to simultaneously flood two bathrooms before breakfast

Today was one of those days where I really wish I could have gone back to bed and have a do-over.  The entire day was a comedy of errors and frustrations and me being short-tempered and it all started like this:

I was downstairs getting ready to make breakfast when I heard water running in the downstairs bathroom. I was the only one down there, so ( Read more... )

bumps in the road, that's life, um...oops, one of those days, you've got to be kidding me!

That is 1000% a pizza day. I hate leaky bathrooms! I hope tomorrow is dry and clean and very relaxing!

The rest of the week went much better. No more floods, thank goodness!

It's very nice that he's so handy around the house.

Thanks. The rest of my week did go much better and both the sink and toilet are thus far leak free.

*cringe* Yeah, poor thing... I'm sorry you had to go through that. I had an incident once where the toilet flooded here at the house and about killed my husband b/c I had used it last so it was 'my fault' so he didn't want to have to clean it up. And it wasn't the tank (which is slightly 'fresher' water) no... it was the bowl that flooded. I probably got the attention of all the neighbors when I screamed. Then I did the same load of towels like 4 times trying to feel comfortable with their level of clean... :) Glad you survived!!! (And T) ;)

Oh man! I probably would have thrown my towels away after that.

It was tempting but I was laid-off at the time and we couldnt' afford to buy more... I've gotten more since then so we use those more. :) I don't think we'll ever forget.
