Matt,

You probably cannot change the world but you can help by treating the people you meet with acts of random kindness. One way to contribute is volunteer work ( In safe Countries )or being the best teacher possibela nd guiding your students towards high achievements of adelf actualizaion and happiness

I wasn't going to post a comment because there was nothing that i could say that you hadn't already covered, but for reasons that shall go unmentioned, i've been motivated to respond. so. First, i just wanted you to know that reading this right now for me was fabulous. during the stress of midterms that we're all familiar with I was forgetting why I was even in college and focusing on the here and now and the smaller things and neglecting to look at the big picture. you helped me step back and regain my perspective ( ... )

And because of that, I posted this. Thank you. The last part of that is what I was hoping for. Just to reach someone, and maybe they'll reach someone else. Thank you so much.

You DO make a difference mom_of_matt October 13 2005, 15:56:06 UTC
And, so, Matt, as you can see, by asking the questions, you make others begin to think and they share these thoughts, and then the others begin to think and question.....and on and on....which is what I tried to say in my very, very long novel.

But, to say it quickly, this is EXACTLY why YOU would be a Fantastic teacher!!!! Because one question to many, becomes the question to twice as many, ....becomes the answer!

You touch lives every day, in just this very way.

How you came from the parents you have is absolutely amazing.

You make me very proud and fill me with awe. I love you, Mom
