WOOHOO I CAUGHT UP! :-D

And now that I'm finally here for an S3 discussion post, I'd like to take a moment to talk about how frelling awesome Jool is. She's a delicious breath of baggage-free fresh air on this well-laden crew. I especially love her interaction with Chiana, because as much as Jool in the first few episodes is like all of them were at the beginning, she's especially like Chiana, and you see how much Chi has changed. At the same time, it gives her a buddy! The two of them are really fun together. <3 Jool ( ... )

I always forget just how freaking creepy Eat Me is until I sit down and watch it. *Shudders* And I think I'd be more along the lines of Chiana with the twinning thing. It's definitely not something I'd be able to shrug off.

On "Eat Me":

Man, this thing was creepier than I remembered it being. I even got a couple of little chills towards the beginning. And Kaarvok is a terrific science fictional Scary Ass Crazy Person.

The B-plot needs more Stark, but I pretty much always think that.

(I'll probably watch "Thanks for Sharing" tomorrow.)

And on "Thanks for Sharing":

I think this episodes is much less interesting for its plot (although it's okay), and much more for all the little character stuff it does and especially for the way it moves the main story arc along. And there are some classically Farscapian touches: the Lobster of Truth, "Every frelling planet", the fact that both of the Johns survive the episode when surely nobody watching for the first time actually expects them to... I also like the way the show is making a point of acknowledging this season that all the stuff Our Heroes have been up to is starting to earn them quite a rep, which can be both helpful and harmful to them.

Also, it has one of my favorite Stark lines ever: "How much later?" Oh, Starky. Never change. Well, except for how you constantly do. :)
