I just got done practicing singing Billy Joel’s “Just the Way You Are” from youtube. I’m thinking about singing it for my recital, as a dedication to my mom and dad. The one thing I try not to ever say is "I can't, I'm too busy". I'll say that I'm busy, but I never want to let something like unimportant crap-work get in the way of what makes my life feel meaningful.

I was just looking through some pictures on one of friend's Facebook, and as I was flipping through, I noticed everyone in the pictures was smiling. What is everyone so happy about? Where did the tradition come from that we should smile when someone points a camera at us?

Today I went for an hour without wearing my glasses. I can see, although not extremely well, but it turned into an experiment. Does not wearing glasses change how I act? I think it did.

My computer died just last October. I revived it. And now it has died for it's second (and I'm going to say 'final') time. It really is weird not having a computer. Today was a really sad day, a small percentage of which is owed to Heath Ledger, which is really unfortunate and almost creepy.
