At my dad's reception the pianist failed to show up. So they connected a music filled computer to the sound system, programmed in a playlist and a couple of friends and relatives took turns MCing - it turned out rather nice. Just a thought if you can't find someone decent. Good luck with all of this I know how all-consuming and stressful wedding planning can be.
