So far I have filled up 3 trash bags with toys to give away. Lots of it is perfectly nice, usable things but we simply have too much and as a result keeping things reasonably organized is becoming a nightmare. Everytime I am torn on keeping or tossing something I remind myself this is one less thing to clean.

All of my childhood I craved the icing that goes with refridgerated pilsbury cinnamon rolls. In my teenage years I would throw away three of the rolls so I could have more. Yesterday, Timothy smiled at me for the first time. Now he is smiling all the time when we talk to him. He looks so different when he smiles. Amazing how wonderful a baby smile is and makes you feel.

Timmy is cooing! It is so cute - he has such a distinctive little voice. So strange to hear such a sweet baby voice come out of such a serious face, although occasionally he looks so earnest and open. He mostly talks to lights and windows. Occasionally he will make eye contact but not much yet. And he is getting light very fine hair. I miss ( Read more... )

Baby is looking less like a turtle and more like a garden gnome. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find any baby sized red pointy hats. And unlike turtles, cute baby outfits aren't readily available with gnomes on them ( Read more... )

Changing little boy diapers is so easy compared to girls, even on intact boys. I suppose there are less places for stuff to hide. Timothy is getting better at sidelying nursing so I'm getting more sleep. And I am feeling like I'm finally healing. It still hurts but less so ( Read more... )
