So I spent the majority of last night trying to fix my computer - or more accurately, determining that windows had been hopelessly corrupted and that my only recourse was to salvage what I could and then wipe the entire thing and do a clean reinstall.

So, I saw Cloverfield the other day, and it was a thoroughly fantastic movie. I can see how some might be put off by the use of 'shakycam' or other elements - but on my end, it was simply one of the most intense movies I've ever seen.
