Grandma did indeed move in, and we've gotten most everything settled/unpacked/put in storage, depending on what needed to be done. So before we went to Arizona, I went to the dentist for a checkup. Here's the scoop. At the age of 33, I had not been to the dentist in over 15 years. Knock on wood! Gently!
I woke up this morning all set for day 4 of migraine. Spent the first 20 minutes of alertness curled up and whimpering. I coated my neck and forehead in Icy Hot again (this helps, if only marginally), then finally got up and took a hot shower. No, I'm not turning goth. I am on day three of migraine joy, oh yeah. If it's still in full force tomorrow, I'm going to the doc and begging something/anything that will help, as ibuprofen barely dents it. Gah. Ick. And a few Bill the Cat 'Ack!'s thrown in. ;) -

Discovery!
So Friday night I went to bed. Saturday morning, I woke up and my neck hurt. I went to tai chi, and it started hurting worse. (Not because of tai chi...that actually helped stretch me out a bit and got the blood going.) By golly, turns out I've got another pinched nerve in my neck, and now cannot turn my head. Kuan Yin is the Chinese goddess of love and compassion. This video is a dance group that does an incredible 'thousand-hand' dance. I like the concepts. :) Plus it's just beautiful to watch. -
Detox: Update 1 Day 3
Whew! Busy day! It's weird though. Despite all I've done, even with this cold, I'm feeling very upbeat and cheerful. I went to the orthopedic surgeon today. The arm is declared officially all better! Yay! The knees? Enh, not so much. I've worn my cartilage rough under my kneecaps. I'll be wearing a brace on my left knee from now on when I exercise ( Read more... )
