I bumped into the 50bookchallenge community through lj_spotlight at the beginning of this year. While being very impressed with the challenge, I didn't immediately feel up to taking up the challenge. Sure! I could copy-paste all my movie reviews in there. Do you guys have a particular format of reviewing or anything's kosher? And the community doesn't show that it's open to membership. One can just watch it? Meesa confused.

guru was crap as ever. 30 dollars down the drain! :D
but this other movie.. parzania. its strange that u didnt like it. ive heard someone saying its a good film and now that the bajrang dal is not letting it screened in guj, its become some sort of an issue right? but yeah, am sure its crap from what u wrote.
man, i miss india! :D

Parzania has good intentions behind it for sure. But the execution is so bad that you can't forgive it just because of the good intentions behind the film making. It is true that the film 'has not found any distributors' in Gujarat. But I think that's an unnecessary overreaction; some of the film's arguments are so irrational that they would get more minds and hearts on their side of the argument if the film was shown in Gujarat.

Watch it anyway, and tell me what you thought. :)

dunno if it will ever release in Au. and i dunno if i shud bother buying the dvd after ur review which seems like how i will view the film in any which way. lets see... :-)
