so...I broke up with my parents yesterday. It was hard. Now I'm glad that I'm working a double today and tomorrow so I can be busy. I'm also glad I have someone to hold my hand through this.

I am happy. Work is great. Having no classes is better. My brain is getting a much needed break. It's amazing how I don't feel guilty when I just sit around and do nothing. It's always when my room is at its messiest and I'm about to begin the process of moving out...again that I miss science and math the most. I wonder when that will fade? I'm going on a road trip this summer
not just a to-the-beach-road-trip, but a real life, going to Niagara Falls and Chicago, 2000 Mile road trip! I can't wait.

I can't wait until I get to the point where I don't feel like I need to have more than one job to get by. I'm waiting on responses from summer REUs so I can know if I need to be looking for a place to live/hobo for the summer - that would also allow me not to have to work so hard this summer ( Read more... )
