I feel emotionless

I want to go to grad school. I really really really want to go. I see it as a stepping stone to change the world, but there's so much more riding on this. It's not just my aspirations of solving global warming and hugging trees with an equation for the rest of my life. I want to see how much gumption I have. It's like 3rd quarter at science and math on crack. I feel like I don't have enough time to have friends and really wish I didn't like my friends right now. Wow, OK I'm back on this journal again. I got back from Hungary about a week and a half ago and it's been pretty crazy. I got back thursday night, hung out with people friday, had a great weekend and then monday went straight to my REU. No break. My grandfather died yesterday and I'm half way across the world. I miss him an incredible amount even though I knew it was coming - he'd been in hospice almost 2 weeks.
