My betta fish finally died today. She was poisoned about a week ago when my former roommate poured a small amount of flea powder into her tank. It appeared to have burned a layer of skin off Meena at the time. Jake and Ebil are liking the new place. They decided to start their first real stealing and stashing behaviors with their brush and my underwear. Jake hides his behind the carrier and Ebil hides hers under the cage. It's kind of cute, I suppose.

All is well here. We are moving Tuesday. Jake keeps humping Ebil dispite being fixed, but apparently it's not that abnormal. It is new for them, but not for fixed ferrets in general. Hrm... lemme see. Ebil got into a cup of soda left on the coffee table last night. And... I think that's it!

Ebil's foot is fine. The two little brats are behaving, besides trying to steal my shoes and a sip of my energy drink. They can't have either! They're mine and I'm not willing to share! But they are happy to get lots of pettings and wrestling and being allowed to run around the living room.

The vet said nothing appeared to be broken, she just pulled a muscle. He also said to keep her from "excersizing" for about TWO WEEKS! Ha. I don't see that happening. She already paces around her cage after she's played for 4 hours. She can't stay calm that long! But I think she'll be okay.

My little girl hurt her foot somehow. She doesn't walk on it half the time, the rest the time she kind of limps along. I'm sending her to the vet tomorrow as soon as I get up.

I had a shoelace tied in 3 different spots on the cage door Jake figured out how to open and he STILL managed to untie each one and escape while I was at the store. Thankfully, I remembered to shut my bedroom door and the worst that happened was Ebil tearing up more carpet. Well, now the cage door has to be permanately shut instead of just tied ( Read more... )

The babies got their shots today. They also got Zupreem and stuff to put in their water so their pee will stop smelling so horrible. Hope it works!
