question

I just discovered Discordianism yesterday and am very intrigued by it, however I have just one question.  I keep reading about hot dogs, but eating hot dogs is not a nessecary practice, is it?  See, I am a vegetarian, and to me that comes first.

In the words of the prophet Humpty (peace be upon his mention):

DOWUTCHYALIKE.

This is just a symptom of what is wrong with Discordians today. No respect for the rules. They don't think the rules and codes apply to them. They think that these strict dietary laws are just suggestions and are playful whimsies.

editors note: oh, bloody hell, I just pressed post instead of...something else.

Define necessary.

For that matter, define practice.

And spend a lot more time talking to Discordians. You'll get the hang of it soon enough!

I spike a pope of Nermolia hereby declare that some of us are practicing and some of us are proficient. I further grant a dispensation unto whoever has watched people snatching bites off a hotdog hanging from a string while on the back of a motorcycle driven through the mud from actually eating a hotdog their own selves. So saith I all.
