New Piano!

Well, after many years of talking about it, we finally bought a digital piano. I'm really excited about having an instrument that I can really practice on and re-develop my piano playing skills to a level where I can at least get some personal satisfaction from playing even if I'm not a performance major anymore.

I'm so glad you guys have a share-able musical instrument, and that you like it so much! My mom taught all of us kids piano for as long as we could focus on it - my brothers still play to varying degrees and my sister and I got our basic musical theory out of it and went on to orchestra/band from there. Enjoy the heck out of it, and I hope the cat gets used to it, too.

It is fun, but it's also going to require some discipline on my part to re-acquire a certain level of skill required to really enjoy it.

Thanks! It's a Casio Celviano AP-620, and it was more affordable than we were originally expecting.
