Turning seasons

Thanksgiving is a wholly fictional holiday, trumped up in the 'twenties to justify a marketing bonanza - Thus, it's always a little disconcerting when it ( lines up true with a genuine seasonal event. )

seasons change, witchy, snow

Well rats, too bad for Joseph! Other than that small disappointment, how was your Thanksgiving?

Ours was small -- only the 3 of us plus Marvin, who had to be at work by 5PM so we ate around 1 PM. After I dropped him off I went up to Greyhaven, where Diana gave me a huge hug and asked if I would stay to dinner? Since I was still rather full I said I'd stay for the Family Ceremony, and meanwhile was there anything I could do to help? I was promptly put in charge of making the gravy, which I hadn't done in years (hell, I haven't cooked in years!). I haven't lost my touch, though; it came out great, and I ended up staying for dinner after all. Many people asked after you, including your nephew Evan (as we peeled 20 lbs. of potatoes together).

A long-delayed package is on its way and should reach you on Sunday. I'd ask you to give Joseph a hug from me, but he'd hate that, so I send Virtual Hugs in his general direction and Real Hugs to you -- MWA!
