I can't believe it's almost August. Wow, this summer has flown by, hasn't it? Being as I'm not a kid anymore, I'm actually pleased to see summer drawing to a close. This summer especially has been entirely too hot for my tastes. I can't wait for fall to get here.

Is it Friday yet?
Best part of my new job: I have access to all the merchandise we sell at cost. Basically we have access to vendors who deal with everything from pens and picture frames to diamonds and Coach purses. I've heard we even get a discount at Tiffany's. Dear sweet lord. I'm told I'll never pay for retail again. Right now I'm thumbing through catalogs ( Read more... ) -

My date went really well last night. Instead of showing up with flowers, he shows up with a copy of the Harry Potter book. *sigh* ... I am just so smitten with this boy. I love going outside with Libby late at night. Sometimes I sit on my patio lounge, looking up at the stars and breathing in the humidity.
