Just thought I'd ask, on the whole do most people prefer short entries that give the basics, but gloss over the details or long entries that really delve into the thoughts of the writer?

I ask, as you may have guessed, because I seem to write few, long and in depth entries, rather than many short and ... superficial (for lack of a better word)

I suppose the main reason I post so seldomly is because I have a very regular routine. I have more or less 9-5 job, and I tend to do very little of any original content during my free time.

Don't you just hate it when you play a game and it's really pretty easy most of the way through and then suddenly you hit this super hardpart? That's exactly the problem I'm having at the moment.
