I had an excellent lesson with Yo the other day. fuck she is the best. We did some counter canter, something I have never actually tried to do before, but is a good excercise for straightening Maverick. We ended with some gymnastics. So fun. well worth it. met with the new trainer today....she is great! she's been teaching for the last 25 years and has her level 2. all of her students are showing, AND she own's Maverick's half sister so she's got good taste to boot! so today was productive. yesterday I did a lot of flat work with maverick. I tried to trot him through a grid of x poles, but he kept deeking out at the last second.
