What a thrill to see the final chapter of this lovely and amazing saga. Superb job on tying it all together and reaching a most satisfying conclusion. The ending was perfect; sweet and hopeful. Kudos on your accomplishment - I imagine it must feel awesome to be done!
I am in a similar boat in that I have a very long WIP novel (not this fandom) that has languished for more than 2 years after I lost my muse. You have inspired me to make a renewed effort to wrap up my story and give closure to the faithful fans who have taken the time to read it.

You did a great job writing this story-it's hard to believe it has been almost two years! Thank you for finishing in one of the best possible way - Where Jack can be content-at peace with himself- once again finding that hope and promise still exists.

I played the youtube video-the perfect song from one of my favorite groups- parts of the story flashing in my mind as I listened and followed the words.

I'm sorry for the loss of your mother-these lines from the story are so true-
"And the funny thing is he’s come to realize you never really do say good-bye to people or things you’ve loved in your life. The important ones stay with you and shape you and mold you even after they’ve gone on from your life. They’re always a part of you if you want them to be, tucked away inside where they’re safe and warm."

Bittersweet. All the good and encompassing the bad. The way it
should be. You cant forget the past, but you can live with it. It
sometimes comes back hard and relentless. But it receeds again. Then you can move forward again. Lovely job. janice
