Mmm. I love all the languorous description, how the summer is sweet and warm and dreamy. I also love how clear it becomes, days later, just as Rodney and Ronon return. And that John willingly takes the drug? *Wow* Completely awesome.

Now I want to know what Jacob and Aiden think about John, and what his investments are like, and if Rodney and Ronon brough him back anything--you know, a trinket-type thing. Lovely.

Ooh, a trinket! That's a great idea. *beams at you* And I'm so glad you liked this! I feel like I've been coaxing John step by step through this story, and then at the end he just rushed ahead. ;) I wanted it to feel kind of like he was on drugs even when he wasn't, if you see what I mean.

Maybe John can save up for a pair of underwear...

Yay, thanks! I'm glad -- it's extremely vivid in my head, I'm glad some of that comes across. Possibly I think of John the helpless plaything a little more than, well, than my employers would like. :)
