Well, I'm back from my top secret yet totally useless mission. I find it strange that the one time I'm away a Death Eater sneaks into Hogsmeade. A coincidence? I think not. I think this merits me staying here and not being sent to do a clerk's job anymore. Hear that, Dawlish?

I don't believe for a moment that your absence had anything to do with the Death Eater incident in Hogwarts. If I did, it would only be in negative connotations, Mr. Flint.

I am, however, pleased to see that you have returned. You on duty tonight? Or are you free to join me and some of the others for drinks? Dawlish is going home tonight, so I'm on supervision. Unfortunately, I haven't been left the official patrol roster. I think Dawlish is afraid I'll meddle with it, which I will, of course.

Don't any of you new recruits know that if you get Dawlish drunk, he's more reasonable? He's also incoherent, but that's usually not too much of an issue when we want a simple yes or no answer.

This is weird. Um, yes, I could have possibly left behind a cardigan at a friend's place once. But where could he have gone that I'd have gone? Only really Oliver's place, and he would have returned it to me himself.
