She lied
I worked a fifteen hour day today, and I got so caught up in trying to get shit done that I had a major snack attack when I got home, and then realized that I had forgotten to eat dinner. At 8 A.M. we gon' do it again.
Also, my landlady lied about having my a/c fixed.
Alright, I'm exhausted, time for sleep. -
Retribution
When I got home tonight, I found a note taped to my apartment door. It was from the landlady, apologizing about this morning, and saying that she had mistakenly pulled up the report for a different apartment, and that they would replace my a/c unit first thing tomorrow morning. That's better. -

Krispy Kreme PSA and sunburn
Public service announcement: Krispy Kreme has strawberry and blueberry iced donuts for the summer.
Also, you know your sunburn is intense when the translucent peeled skin comes off brown, and the new skin underneath is still sunburned. Guess I need to get a little more serious with my aloe vera (and in the future, sunscreen) slathering. -
Holy assburgers
The best way I can describe the weather here is that if feels EXACTLY the way your attic feels on a hot July afternoon. When I've been inside an air-conditioned building for a while, I stick my hands in my pockets when I walk outside, and it's noticeably cooler inside my pockets. I don't hate it, though. -
Birthday cake shake
On a tastier note, I went over to Eric and Liese's last night, and we put some milk, birthday cake ice cream, and three cupcakes (minus the icing) into a blender and made birthday cake shakes.
