Who would have thought? A big, multi-national company within our capitalist society, lobbying a sovereign government to take a course of action which would cause distress for so many people, only to serve their own interests?

So I spent the first half of the day studying the reformation of the Netherlands, and the second half of the day listening to depressing music, which lo and behold made me thoroughly depressed.

What is up with me? Why do I listen to music which I know is not going to improve my current state of mind. It is like I WANT to be depressed.

Of course, there is one person who will be missing a Labour government.
