To those who sleep in the library when there is an obvious lack of seats - THIS IS NOT OK. I am using a bookcase for a desk, and I can see two people sleeping just in my area. Wake up and do some work, or vacate your desk for the benefit of others. Thank you.

Hmmm. Today I am feeling rather cheery. This is unnatural and disturbing, and probably means something really BAD is about to happen. No idea what though. I had a lovely, if somewhat unproductive, day yesterday. Ah yes, hay fever season has begun. Although for those, like me, who are allergic to tree pollen, it actually began well over a month ago. In fact, this year it started in January. Apparently 16th century Italian is not the same as modern. Who knew? And since I don't know modern Italian I can't translate the older stuff either. Bye bye Boccaccio. Was nice holding a 430 yr old book though :)

 I HATE UCL. Am so glad to be leaving. They (finally) released the exam timetables today. Far too late of course, people need to know in February ideally. When is my first exam? Well, I'm not Cambridge material. Checked the online thingy today and my application is 'cancelled' - code for "You're intellectually feeble". But ya boo sucks to them, cos the Courtauld is actually better for History of Art and they want me.  I have made a conscious choice to go to sleep now. The essay is in on friday at 5, have written approx. 1000 words. Admittedly I haven't yet actually addressed the question... but I feel this is the question's fault, not mine.
