I'm feeling similar. For me, I think it has to do with the summer. I'm not nearly as busy or involved (or more importantly, surrounded by friends) as I am during the school year. Those moments of silence creep in and blast the hell out of the rose colored glasses. Call me if you want to chat things out.
Lemm, I'm sorry I've been distant. Really, the starry shimmer of my indigo world has been a bit dim of late, but I never quite had the opportunity to discuss it with you.
On that note, we've both been busy, and the only times I see you are in big groups. You of all people know how lost that can make me feel; I'd venture to suggest that for me at least, I've felt like I needed to impress you just to hold your attention for a few moments...
(Shit, that sounded emo. I'll kick myself later, promise.)
But I wanted to let you know that I love you. I love my dancing star of a friend I can't help but smile at as she spins by; who always makes me look more intently at life's night sky, and consider its deeper significance with questions spoken in a gentle whispery voice in twilight's deeper tone.
Lastly, I extend sympathetic "Dammit, I haven't written enough either!" in your direction, for what its worth from an engineering student.
I know you probably weren't being specific, and this isn't sarcastic...
I am sorry I'm cruel and sarcastic. Sometimes I say those horrible things just to make you laugh. If, on the inside, you're disgusted with my cruel sense of humor (when it comes up), then please stop giggling.
P.S. Also, the whole people waiting for them to take their turn thing...I realise I have done that, now that you mention it. I am sorry I can be a really big attention whore sometimes.
P.P.S. I also apologise for dealing out more than my fair share of criticisms to you because of your work schedules. Please know that underneath it all, I only picked on you because I miss you and I got mad I couldn't see you as often as I used to. In the end, I really do support your goals of being independent and making your own money to pay for real things.
