Even though I've spent years in this state by now, I remain surprised by how hard it is for me to sit still and finish something. a cat is distracting me
I haven't been keeping up with work as well as I'd like. The weather is so beautiful, television is so addictive, time spent with friends and family feels so wholesome, and my cat is downright mesmerizing. A friend has come over for a work date. She brought an abundance of fresh veggies from her garden and homemade lavender goat cheese (goat cheese, lavender, cream, sea salt, honey). We're working on our laptops outside, picnic style, in the dappled sunlight beneath a tree like an umbrella. It really takes the edge off of grading borderline ( Read more... ) -

Today I'm thankful for
1. Clean tap water. It's amazing that inside my own home, I can just twist a knob, and drinkable water comes out! More than I need!
2. Spring weather. The weather has been absolutely perfect here, morning, noon and night. It's been a joy to go outside everyday.
