We had to deal with getting mugged. Indigo and I both. On our street. Two blocks away from home. He was wearing a zipped up hoodie so that we couldn't see his face. I agree with everyone who tells you to be grateful you were not hurt and to leave it at that. Remember that hating him or carrying around resentment toward him gets you nothing (and does not affect him at all), while remembering to appreciate the precious time you DO have, and the love you have, and both your health and Indigo's, etc., WILL get you something . . . . really it's a no-brainer.

Also don't ask me where this optimism came from, I think I am high cause I just found out I am employed.

Also, of course getting robbed super-blows. And I am sorry you had to experience it. But all he got was six bux, and you got your life and your love and your happiness, so just focus on that. If I were you I'd have crzy hot sex with my wife for weeks just to celebrate our keen survival skills and good instincts (not that I think telling him to prove he had a gun was a good survival skill at ALL). But since you did survive his bee-bees, then why not celebrate?

I know. I did a really stupid thing by confronting him and I am lucky that I didn't get us both seriously hurt.

I will do my best to move on....We'll see what happens when I walk home from work today.

I'm in shock that you actually argued with a guy who claimed to have a gun, and you didn't die or get seriously injured. You played with fire and you won. I'd just be satisfied with that.
Sorry you both had to experience something like that...that's seriously scary! Glad your both okay as you can be.
