Knitting fundraiser

I have teamed up with tinksdarkerside to participate in Ravelry.com's "Ravelympics" event, in which we have to knit something within the timescale of the Olympics (8th-24th August)*.

We're raising money for the Bone Cancer Research Trust in memory of our friend and fellow knitter mamfa, who recently passed away suddenly; her 9-year-old nephew James was diagnosed ( Read more... )

Great idea to give it away at the end!

I agree that the Clapotis is a challenge, but I won't be at work so hopefully will complete it. Was going to attempt my first ever jumper but wimped out ;-)

At least with Clapotis I know it will be easy, having used the pattern before. Plus I love dropping stitches on purpose!

I've sponsored you. It's a really nice thing to do. Sam was a really food friend to us. She even knit Emily a really funky green top, it now fits Alice. She was a much better knitter than me and I will join Revelry when I get a minute.
