I'm happy to report that the date went well. We had a great conversation! It flowed well, with lots of laughs and no awkward silences. ask her out for a second date, and you can still go out on other dates in the meantime. until you make the commitment not to date other people, it's open.

Thanks for your input Dem. That's what I was leaning towards doing, but I'm just paranoid that if I don't concentrate on this one, it will slip from my grasp. Too much time might go by if I choose to date a bunch of others, and who knows what other offers she might get in the meantime, etc. The whole "you snooze, you lose" concept has burned me so many times before...

Fuck, I feel like a clueless teenager again.

well, you have some good points. maybe don't date too many other people, just stick with 2 or so at a time if you can fit one date a week with each in your schedule. good luck, and enjoy the teenage butterflies in your tummy :)

Be cool, let things flow.

If it's meant to happen it'll happen.

Ask her out again.

Rolly, I think it is better to be cautious. This way you can enjoy it but not set yourself up. I agree with Demi : ask her out again.
