The other day I wore a t-shirt I took from the lost and found that has the the teenage mutant ninga turtles characters on it and below them in green all upper case letters - REPRESENT

I love reading about all my friends on LJ it really makes me so happyandmissing all you. I realize I'm being a little selfish by not posting anything myself. I am currently working at a camp in CO and loving it so very much. I'm at the base of a mountain and am living at about 8,500 feet elevation. Things here are just fine. I'll be heading out on Monday. There seems to be a good number of volunteers down here, but only a few long term people staying here. Around the time I the camp will also be losing Victor and Meg 2 of our best cooks. I said good bye to my Belgium friends today. Heidi and I took Sunday off to walk around the French Quarter during the day to take pictures of the buildings and such. I felt like I was in a different country. All the buildings were all different colors, with all these green plants. The French Quarter did not get hit as bad as many other areas. We drove around for a bit and saw these ( Read more... )

Oh fresh summer rain. I thank the Lord for the recent cooler weather, it has been nice to be able to sleep with a cover on and be able to move in my bed without instantly sweating. quick story: the other day i ran into a h.s. girl wearing a kerry/edwards pin, an unusual site here at hope/holland michigan. i make a comment "nice button", she replies "yea my mom say me wearing it and says 'What are you wearing!?
