Boring weekend?
Is it weird that I dyed my hair today, and saw four people, and none of them noticed? I saw David, who sees me almost every day, and a friend I haven't seen in a few months - so it can't be explained by either familiarity or lack thereof. Maybe it's just too subtle? But I thought it looked a little different!

I keep Tang around in the cupboard to treat my low blood sugars - it's basically the most shelf-stable and efficient treatment I've found. Why is it that in much entertainment (movies, tv, books, plays) and possibly also in reality, parents will address a male child with his description - "son, we need to talk" - but never a female one?
I've only ever heard a daughter addressed as such when the intent was to portray some kind of scary and retrograde environment - like serial killer ( Read more... ) -
