As promised, here's a reinterpretation of the President's speech at Fort Bragg last night. As always, my liberal bias is totally apparent, and this is in no way the actual text of the speech. For that, go
here. Other than that, enjoy :)

I can't believe he's comparing his administration to Lincoln's. *sigh*
And Khadaffi (sp?) is giving up his nuclear program? ROFLMAO-WTIME (with tears in my eyes). *sigh again*

Oh, and yeah, Kaddafi did give up his weapons program, but it was mostly because he was on a short list for "mostly likely to be blown up next" and no one was going to be stepping up to be upset about.
Kaddafi, in the final analysis, is an incredibly pragmatic guy.

I love your "reinterpretations." They're just so...satisfying.
Of course, then I always feel compelled to go and read the actual speeches, which I can never watch b/c I just get too angry to function, and I'm left wondering how the voting public can really believe this war was ever a good idea.
C'est la vie americainne, I suppose.

And next year they just start back at the beginning.
WTF, man? I mean, how many times does one child need to be told which colonies were royal, which were charters and which were, um, that third category?

I'm amazed at the crap that Bush gets away with saying, and people make up excuses out the wazoo, and he keeps on.... doing whatever it is he does. Scary, though.
Have you ever read TomatoNation? "That we go through that amount of money, oh, every six months, doesn’t seem to have occurred to anyone, but thanks for the assistance, rest of the world." <--- reminds me a lot of the way she 'speaks', sometimes! Good stuff there, too.
